Sweet and sour sauce for meat


  • ginger root
  • 2 medium heads onion
  • 2 large or 3 small cloves of garlic
  • sunflower oil (refined)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sherry (dry wine)
  • 3 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tbsp vinegar (usually rice,but if not,then-dining room)
  • 2 tbsp sugar (brown,if not, fit regular or honey)
  • half a Cup of sour juice (or pineapple apelsinova)
  • 1 tablespoon starch
  • 2 tbsp water

Method of preparation

  • Finely chopped onion, garlic, ginger root put in a pan, pour oil, and sauté the mixture for a few minutes. Mix in a separate container soy sauce, sherry, vinegar, ketchup, orange juice with sugar, pour in the pan the obtained mix and wait until it all boils.
  • Tablespoon of starch mixed with water and gradually to avoid lumps formed, pour into the pan. Not forgetting to stir, cook until the sauce is your desired consistency.
