Pkhali of spinach


  • 1 kg young spinach
  • 100 g walnuts
  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro
  • ½ Garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 1 ripe pomegranate
  • 1 tsp Khmeli-suneli
  • to taste pepper and salt

Method of preparation

  • Fresh, young spinach, thoroughly washed, then 4 minutes, boil it in boiling water. Then, when spinach is cooked, throw it in a colander.
  • Grind In a meat grinder: spinach, nuts, garlic, onion and cilantro. The obtained powder blend, taste, add spices, and knead all by hand until a homogeneous consistency.
  • Phala can be arranged in the form of balls, decorated with pomegranate seeds, or lay shoved in a plate and sprinkle with pomegranate.
