Onion fritters


  • 3 PCs of onions
  • 5 tablespoons flour
  • 1.5 teaspoon of salt
  • 200 ml sunflower oil
  • black pepper to taste
  • 4 eggs

Method of preparation

  • First, take 3 large onions, but if the head smaller, then larger pieces and clean them from the skin. Next, cut onion into quite small pieces, but it is better to cut than mince, as then there will be too many bitter onion juice and lost the key vitamins.
  • Chopped onion beat eggs and whisk them with a mixer to obtain a homogeneous onion-egg mass. Also add salt and black pepper to taste. Now through a sieve to sift the flour and all of this very thoroughly.
  • Put on a hot stove a frying pan and heat to boiling oil. There blend spoon the dough lumps, and then straighten it to make it round or oblong. Pancakes to fry from both sides till Golden brown.
  • Ready onion pancakes turn out crispy and tender with no bitter onion taste, they need to spread on paper towels to absorb excess oil in there after frying. This dish can be served as a standalone in the form of snacks, as well as with any sauce to taste. Very well suited here mustard sauce.
