• 1.5 cups hulled lentils
  • a little salt
  • 0.5 cups dried apricots
  • 0,5 shelled nuts
  • 1 medium size onion
  • a little bit of parsley
  • pepper (black)

Method of preparation

  • Sorting through and washing the lentils, cover with water and cook for about half an hour. Rinse the apricots, finely chop it and mix with the chopped nuts. Cut into tiny cubes onions. On a heated pan pour oil and sauté the onion for a few minutes. To the lentils right in the pot add the prepared onions, dried apricots and nuts. Boil on low heat, remove from the heat. Serve sprinkled with herbs and pepper in a flat dish.
