Marshmallows at home


  • 1 sachet of vanillin
  • a glass of water
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin
  • 600 g of sugar
  • a Cup of powdered sugar
  • 10 g of citric acid
  • 10 grams of baking soda

Method of preparation

  • Gelatin dissolved in cool boiled water for 35 minutes. Make a syrup with 100 ml water and all sugar, 8 minutes to cook.
  • Pour in the syrup when it is boiled, cooked gelatin, then beat with a mixer for 8 minutes. Add citric acid and beat for 5 minutes. Attach the baking soda and vanilla and again beat for 5 minutes.
  • Spoon marshmallow on a saucer. Leave to dry for 40 minutes. To integrate the marshmallow halves and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
