Drunken pears in red wine


  • 4 pears
  • 150 g of dry red wine
  • 150 g of purified water
  • 150 gr sugar
  • lemon peel
  • cinnamon, cloves

Method of preparation

  • Remove the peel from the pears, remove the core. Put the peeled pears in a small pan, throw the lemon zest, sugar, spices, and then pour the water and wine.
  • Cooking should be twenty to thirty minutes on low heat. Pears then removed, and the syrup continue to boil until it remains little. A wonderful and delicious dessert is ready. Serve it as warm or hot.
