Lentil Patty meatless


  • Lentils-1 Cup
  • Potatoes-1 piece
  • Onion-1pc
  • Carrots-1pc
  • Spices
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil-for frying

Method of preparation

  • Pre-soak the lentils overnight. In the morning drain off water and place soaked lentils in a colander. While our lentils drain, peel, wash onions, carrots and potatoes. Onions finely chop and fry in a well heated pan with sunflower oil and add the spices.
  • Stecchi lentils, carrots and potatoes puree them in a blender or grinder, add fried onions with spices. From the resulting meat balls formed portions which later lepim patties and dip them them in breadcrumbs.
  • On a hot pan with hot oil put our patties and fry until cooked on both sides (about 5 minutes each side). Cover with a lid and allow to stand for 10 minutes. Wonderful vegetable cutlets are ready.
