Cake on 8 March


  • 4 PCs chicken eggs
  • 0.25 kg of sugar
  • 0.20 kg wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp potato starch
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • The composition of the cream:
  • 0.20 kg boiled condensed milk
  • 0,10 kg butter
  • Warehouse for decoration:
  • 0,10 kg dark chocolate
  • 0.03 kg of butter
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 – 3 tbsp sugar
  • fruits or berries — optional

Method of preparation

  • To prepare biscuit dough: chilled whites beat with a mixer or blender until the volume increases 4 to 5 times and gradually add sugar. To the whipped proteins add in small portions the cooled yolks, whisking to stop.
  • Sift flour, mix with the potato starch and gradually add in beaten egg mixture, gently stirring.
  • The pan or form covered with a sheet of parchment, sprinkle with oil. In the form pour the dough, flatten the surface with a knife and immediately bake for 30 – 40 minutes. The final sponge cake layer should be elastic (when you press on the cake with dimple disappears). Baked sponge cake cool in the form.
  • To prepare the cream, this boiled condensed milk to whip with soft butter.
  • Sponge cake cut into two parts. One part of the cake to grease cream, and cover the second part.
  • The upper part of the cover whipped in a blender or with a mixer protein and sugar.
  • Melt (in water bath) dark chocolate and butter. Further, on the surface of the cake optional chocolate to draw the patterns (flowers, March 8). To complement the decor berries (cherries and slices of peach), fresh or canned.
