Veal on 8 March


  • 1 kg of pulp of beef
  • 3 large onions
  • 0.15 kg dried prunes
  • 0.15 kg dried apricots
  • 5 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2.5 tsp of mustard (Dijon, classic)
  • 2 tsp . sauce (soy)
  • 1 pinch, spices nutmeg
  • 1.5 cm ginger root
  • Bay leaf

Method of preparation

  • Boneless veal wash, peel and cut into pieces (large and oblong).
  • To prepare the marinade: mix soy sauce with mustard (Dijon or classic), with grated ginger root and half the oil. This marinade omit the beef and let marinate for 3 hours.
  • Well marinated meat and fry on both sides. Then pour it into a cauldron for stewing, add the prepared and chopped onion, butter and a little water. Veal simmer for 1.5 hours.
  • In the end, add in the meat dried prunes, dried apricots, Bay leaf, spices (nutmeg) and simmer another 25 minutes.
